Production work is now in full swing: Costumes, lights, sound, props, and set are coming along; the cast is working hard in rehearsal; Deanna, Assistant Director (and Assistant Dramaturg) Tess Kaczorowski and Stage Manager Keegan Bushey have been putting in a superhuman number of hours; an article about our trip to Turkey was published in the SUNY Oswego Campus Update (February 4, 2009); I'm doing a dramaturgy presentation this Thursday (5:30 pm, 220 Mahar); and we have a visiting Turkish musician, Ozan Aksoy, this week. Ozan has been working with the cast in rehearsal, and is recording songs this afternoon for the show. So, we've been very busy.
